Funding

SMC Speech Pathology is a registered Medicare Australia Provider allowing eligible clients with complex or chronic care needs to access a Medicare Rebate for some Speech Pathology sessions each calendar year.

 

SMC Speech Pathology is a registered service provider and therefore your child may be eligible for some Medicare Rebates.

 

Chronic Disease Management Program

SMC Speech Pathology is a registered Medicare Australia Provider allowing eligible clients with complex or chronic care needs to access a Medicare Rebate for some Speech Pathology sessions each calendar year. Helping Children with Autism Program

SMC Speech Pathology is a registered Medicare Australia Provider allowing eligible clients to make claims for services through Medicare. The Helping Children with Autism Program assists children with Autism or any other pervasive developmental disorder such as Rett’s Disorder or Asperger’s Syndrome. Children who are eligible for this service may be able to access up to 4 diagnostic assessment sessions and/or 20 early treatment sessions with a rebate from Medicare Australia. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

SMC Speech Pathology is an accredited provider for the NDIS. The NDIS was introduced to help people with permanent or significant disabilities and their families (or carers) with the financial costs of care, help and support.
